Our systems and workflows are structured to ensure that using Ekrem.ai does not increase disclosure risk or threaten privilege—no unauthorized access, no inappropriate reuse of data, and no use of client matters for generic model training without explicit agreement.

From a privacy and data-protection perspective, we act as a “processor” to the firm’s “controller” under current state privacy laws. This means we process data solely according to the firm’s documented instructions, implement strong technical and organizational security measures, and support the firm’s obligations regarding access, correction, deletion, and data minimization.

We also align with federal requirements, including avoiding misleading statements regarding how we collect, store, or use data, and putting in place reasonable safeguards suitable for legal-sensitive information.

These commitments are embedded in our contracts and operational practices. Our standard agreements (MSA, DPA, and confidentiality provisions) cover data use restrictions, encryption, access controls, breach notification, and data lifecycle management (retention, export, and deletion).
